Azita Saed
Azita Saed is a clinical mental health counseling intern from the University of Tennessee, currently pursuing her Master of Science in clinical mental health counseling. With nearly a decade of experience providing crisis support through CONTACT Care Line and the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, she brings a deep understanding of acute emotional distress and trauma to her practice.
Azita welcomes individuals of all ages and backgrounds and holds a particular interest in exploring play therapy techniques with children and adults. She is passionate about addressing crisis, trauma, self-esteem, and family dynamics. Azita’s goal is to foster a safe, collaborative therapeutic space. Through empathy, creativity, and a willingness to consider diverse perspectives, Azita aims to guide clients toward greater self-compassion, personal growth, and meaningful change in their lives.
Therapeutic approach
Azita works through a trauma-informed lens and emphases authentic connection and the healing power of supportive relationships. At the core of her practice is a person-centered philosophy, valuing clients’ inherent strengths and capacity for growth. She integrates Internal Family Systems to help clients understand the interplay of their internal parts and foster greater harmony within themselves. In moments of crisis or heightened risk, Azita draws on solution-focused techniques to identify immediate steps toward safety and stability. Across all modalities, her aim is to tailor the therapeutic process to each individual’s cultural context, personal goals, and unique history—creating a safe, empowering environment where clients can cultivate resilience, self-compassion, and meaningful change.
