Mylan Hutchins
Mylan Hutchins is a graduate clinician who is pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at East Tennessee State University. With a background in Human Services and a double minor in American Sign Language, Human Development, and Learning, Mylan is dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey to healing and self-empowerment.
Mylan’s approach is rooted in empathy and connection, drawing from Relational Cultural Therapy and integrating Womanism, CBT, & Play Therapy techniques. She understands the importance of fostering genuine connections with her clients, ensuring they feel heard, valued, and understood every step of the way.
Specializing in working with individuals aged 7 and older, Mylan offers a safe and inclusive space for people from all walks of life. Whether it’s navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, or struggles with identity and purpose, Mylan is committed to providing tailored support to address her clients’ unique needs. Mylan has a specific interest in working with marginalized/underrepresented individuals and oppression.
Above all, Mylan strives to create an environment where individuals can authentically be themselves and feel empowered to share their stories and perspectives. She believes that everyone deserves to find their voice and their path toward personal growth and fulfillment.
